What are Crusher Blow Bars?
Crusher Blow Bars are chrome micro-alloy slabs of metal to crush material like concrete, limestone, asphalt, etc. Blow bars are an essential part of crushing operations and are mainly used in asphalt, small stone, rocks, limestone, and concrete crushing.
Crusher Blow Bars Working Principle
Crusher Blow Bars are installed as 3 to 4 slabs, inserted vertically in the crusher’s rotor where the material comes in contact and is broken down into smaller pieces.
The rotor spins at high speeds, throwing the material (also referred to as feed) with force across blow bars. This enables the material to be immediately crushed. Once crushed to the desired size, the material then falls into the crusher chamber.
