Chrome Ceramic Blow Bars

High Chrome Bars work best for secondary and tertiary crushing and should be used for demanding abrasive applications. Some typical less abrasive and secondary/tertiary crushing examples are sandstone mines, asphalt recycling (metal-free), pre-crushed concrete or debris (metal-free), metal ore crushing, etc.

What are Chrome Ceramic Blow Bars?

Ceramic blow bars are similar to high chrome hammers as they offer longer service life due to ceramic inlays. They are crucial wear items for impact crushers. A blow bar diverts the material towards the crushing chamber. The material fractures into smaller segments when it comes to the impact wall.

The chrome bar is used for effective abrasive activity and efficient crushing. Although they may not perform well with tramp metal or larger feed sizes, they are best for redundant abrasive crushing activity.

Using chrome ceramic blow bars for secondary and tertiary crushing, such as asphalt crushing applications, limestone, concretes, and construction debris crushing without steel or other intrusive objects is recommended.

Material Technology for CC Blow Bars

When our engineered technology is applied to chrome alloy, the resistance boosts by 40-50% compared to blow bars without ceramic inserts. However, it may be restricted to smaller feed sizes with higher abrasive working conditions.

High Chrome Blow Bars- after our engineered experiments, high chrome blow bars have the highest wear resistance amongst all gradients of blow bars.

The feeding size must be controlled when dealing with high chrome blow bars, with strict control over no unbreakable material reaching the crushing chamber.

To increase its service life, we recommend using ceramic inserts. It’s also always best to invest in high ceramic blow bars than pure chrome blow bars due to their high durability and withstanding strength.

We engineered CC+ blow bars to be more wear-resistant to support more abrasive operations. CC+ bars are 100% designed by our team to support high abrasive operations under the most challenging working and environmental conditions. It has been designed with a high chrome carbide matrix to increase efficiency by 80-100% compared to mono-metal solutions.
