What are Impact Crusher Aprons?
Impact Aprons are a crucial wear part of the crusher. They serve to withstand the impact of materials crushing and crashing with each other to break into smaller segments.
Generally, there are two impact crusher aprons: rear and front aprons.
- Impact Crusher Rear Apron: The rear apron is a bulky wear part used for secondary flow control and reduction of feed material. It is 80mm thick, heavy-duty, and fitted with a robust bolt-on on the wear-resistant impact liner in the lower part of the crusher.
- Impact crusher front apron: The front apron is a heavier, more loaded wear part that controls the initial flow and control of feed material.
